Are there any setup fees or upfront coosts?
No - just the first month's payment. The cost of everything is included in the monthly rate.
Is there a minimum term requirement?
A two year minimum commitment is required.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
If you cancel prior to the two-year term expiration, then (just like a celluar service plan) you'll need to buy out the contract (pay the remaining payments that you committed to).
If you cancel after the two-year term, you just need to provide 30 days notice.
Can I upgrade/downgrade my plan?
Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at anytime, changing plans has no affect on your two year committment.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express for monthly plans. All clients are required to register a credit card to use for their monthly subscription.
How long will it take to complete the website?
We limit the clients we take on per month to give your project the time and attention it deserves. It typically takes 3-4 weeks, including a full quality assurance review and testing on multiple devices and browsers.
What platform is used to build the site?
Like Wix and Square Space, we have a custom platform that integrates with our Studio Manager that we use for all our hosted sites. This also gives us full control over the platform allowing us to fix any issues right away instead of waiting for something like WordPress to create a patch we then have to apply to all our sites and then check to make sure the patch or upgrade doesn't break any of the plug-ins, themes, etc..
Any other reason to do a monthly plan?
Our monthly pricing model allows us to manage our own infrastructure and software solutions. This keeps our reliance on third-parties to an absolute minimum and allows for a true end-to-end solution, allowing us to address just about every issue within a single support ticket.
Do you provide images?
Though we can provide "stock" images, we highly suggest those we work with to either take their own photos or hire a professional to take photos. Stock photos are designed to be ubiguitous and devoid of personality, while real photos are designed to visually showcase the uniqueness of your studio and staff.
Will the per-month rate increase over time?
It's possible that we'll increase the price at some point, but your monthly rate is guaranteed to stay the same for a minimum of two years.
What's not included with your webmaster service?
Custom programming, though we always accept requests for new features that could benefit all our hosted studios. Custom artwork (Illustrations/graphic design/logo design, stock photography from ultra-premium vendors), SEO and local search, and copywriting.
Do you provide email?
No. Our service is focused on your website and hosting it. We suggest using Microsoft Office 365 or Google Workspaces for your email.
